Backhouse

Ohau is low-profile loop pile with a difference. Using a core yarn (with the centre of the yarn a different colour to the outer wrapper), it is then tip-shorn by hand, to allow the core colour to show through randomly. This grazed effect is a great point of difference in an already popular rug style.
