Pelorus Trust identified a need to subsidise and co-locate sporting organisations in an environment to promote synergy and resource sharing, and to foster sport participation and achievement. Working closely with Hutt City Council a site was identified to accommodate this vision.

Consciously edgy and iconic, the design provides flexible office environments to foster interaction between tenants. A large reception and multi-purpose function and conference zone separates two open plan office areas.

A simple palette of glass, profiled steel and rendered plastered elements clad the exterior. Internal space is rationally organised across a simple planning grid. A considered integrated interior design solution expounds colour, light and energy efficiency through crafted detailing.
